Carmine Caridi (January 23, – May 28, ) was an American film, television and stage actor. He is best known for his roles in the films The Godfather Part II () and The Godfather Part III (). In , Caridi became the first person to be expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Born in Manhattan, Caridi took up acting with the Boys’ Club as a teenager, which he credited with saving his life: “I’m lucky all my friends went with the mob.” Caridi was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family.
